RYK means rich in Afrikaans, one of South Africa’s eleven official languages.
The name is woven into the rich heritage of South African winemaking, symbolising the ingenuity and hard work of generations before us, the richness of our African soil and the fertile terroir of the Cape Winelands.

The wines produced in South Africa are innovative and dynamic New World Wines, yet made in one of the oldest wine-making countries.
We are continuously inspired by the diversity of the Cape Winelands’ terroir – from cool-climate coastal regions to rugged mountainous terrains, and the warmer inland plateaus. Each varietal thrives under the Mediterranean climate, resulting in accessible wines with vibrant fruit and infinite structure.
We source our wines from the best producers across the various regions, marked for their consistent quality, fruit expression and balance, bringing you a taste of the Cape Winelands to share with friends.

We are a husband-and-wife team and best friends who love to share a glass of wine! Our years of experience combining design, marketing, logistics, international trade, and project management has led to the dynamic range of RYK wines.
